Child Care Programs
Footprints
Preschool offers childcare programs to children from birth to age twelve. Children
are in classrooms with other children of similar age. All rooms follow Educational
Schedules and have Weekly lesson plans that offer developmentally appropriate
activities. Our Infants operate on a schedule that they develop to include feeding,
sleeping and playing times.
Classrooms
are fully equipped with toys and activity centers. Children have many activities
to do during the day such as arts and crafts, educational activities, physical
activities, social activities, and structured activities.
Children
also spend time on our playground doing large muscle activities. Our playgrounds
have slides, riding toys, balls, basketball hoops, monkey bars, etc. During the
summer, we have water play activities to try and help keep children cool. Water
and shade is also provided while outside to prevent overheating.
Age
groups determine staff to child ratios. They are as follows: infants 1:4, One
year olds 1:6, Two year olds 1:11, Three year olds 1:15, Four year olds 1:20 and
School Age Children 1:25.
